ALABAMA'S VALUES. UTAH'S?

If the consequences were not so significant to the country’s integrity and credibility, I’d watch this frenetic skirmish between the alt-right and whatever remains of the G.O.P. (Grand Old Pedophile) with the same gusto my mind’s eye sees ISIS and Al Qaeda engaged in routine suicide bombings of each other. What could be better? They all deserve to meet 72 young virgins in heaven. Come to think of it, Roy may want to convert to Islam then die for the cause. He and Bannon have declared Jihad on the United States, in any event.
During a recent campaign speech, Roy Moore suggested establishment Republicans were afraid he would bring Alabama values to Washington. It is defamatory to attribute his values to the entirety of Alabama’s population. And it isn’t only a diminishing number of the establishment Republicans who want nothing to do with the parasitic “values” he would loose from his bag of tricks. Remember Uncle Ernie? (The Who’s Tommy)
I have several posts about the #MeToo phenomenon. The most significant human component missing from the right side of that discussion continues to be empathy. After burying women beneath mountains of dirt, sand, garbage and feces, mystified men ask the unanswerable question: why didn’t you say something sooner?
Trump’s Hatch recently chimed in. Here’s what I heard:
“This thing with Roy Moore. It happened so long ago. It’s ok to endorse Roy. Necessary, in fact. What choice do we have, those of us on the right who truly love our country? We still have work to do, bills to rush through without debate, without reading or understanding what they mean to anyone other than those one percenters who help write them and pay for us to be re-elected. Those girls, women now, should forgive and forget, right? Okay, I’ve heard some people, mostly those psychology types, claim these kinds of formative experiences can result in watershed changes that alter the rest of their lives and sometimes not even in a good way. C’mon. Most of their moms said it was ok. Right? Heck, I’m sure Roy is a changed man, changed so much he can’t even remember any of this. He's a true Christian. He forgave himself and forgot. In fact, he totally denies it. So the girls, women now, must be misremembering this. It’s not like he killed anyone. In fact the prophet, seer and revelator Joseph Smith, through whom God restored the only true Gospel of Jesus Christ on the face of this earth (Mormonism), had similar experiences with girls, later women, of a similar age, and I doubt their mothers even knew, and if they did, well, it was god’s will anyway, we know that for darn sure. God commanded Joseph. So I see clear parallel between Roy Moore and Joseph Smith. And I was ready to proclaim that but Steve Bannon attacked my religion and my successor Mitt. He crossed a red line. But Roy’s our man.”
